Once starting building with natural materials, you also start your seasonal living style, which we also call natural path. We make bricks when hot and dry Summer comes, we build when the weather is sweeter, we collect bamboo after the rain season, we hibernate in Winter and wake up in Spring, enjoying tea while flowers blossom in our garden. Season - the word contains the wisdoms of all ancient culture backgrounds. It's mysterious to those who disconnect from nature, but clear at the very first step on their journey of reconnecting.

You're welcomed to join us in our 2 weeks of building with adobe bricks. Here the program:

COURSE OUTLINES

▸ Phase 1: Soil and technique selections

▸ Phase 3: Plasters & Clay paints

- First coat

- Finish coat

ACTIVITIES

▸ Interns will follow daily schedule of the building team with 5-6 hours/day (We will go for more details on the orientation day). We're off on Monday.

▸ Tasks will be delegated by the building instructor. We'll try to let everyone experience every roles in a building project.

▸ Technical discussions will be held regularly during the program.

LIVING SITUATION

▸ Accommodation: we provide simple accommodation in our traditional wooden stilt house as a dorm with mattress, futon and mosquito net per pax. Shared toilets and shower rooms are next to the dorm with free homemade organic toiletries set (*attention: all chemicals are banned).

▸ Meals: Everyone will join in preparing meals with ingredients from our garden and the local market.

TUITION FEE

We ask for a contribution of 4,000,000VND (~ $152) per pax for your 2-week staying on our campus. The fee includes all food during the course, accommodation, materials and instruction.

All proceeds go towards supporting us to grow our local sustainable living community and our Food Forest Garden.
